Saudi Aramco received permission from the Saudi Government to create a new energy industrial city. Two companies will be created to develop and run the city, which will use over 50 square kilometers. One report from the Saudi Press Agency suggested that the city will be located close to Abqaiq in the Eastern Province. The city will develop energy-related industries as a part of Saudi Aramco’s efforts to expand its industrial offerings.
