The Business extension of the G20 Presidency, B20 Saudi Arabia, announced a six-point action plan developed to mitigate the economic impact caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. B20 Chairman, Yousef Al-Benyan, highlighted highlighted the need for coordinated global response to minimize the impact of the global economic shut down and to address the possibility of a second wave of the virus. The six-point plan is a result of input from more than 750 business leaders from G20 countries, guest countries, international organizations and micro, small and medium sized enterprises and proposes policy recommendation in six areas; building health resilience, safeguarding human capital, preventing financial instability, unclogging global supply chain, reviving productive sectors, and digitizing responsibly and inclusively.
