Saudi Arabia issued several royal decrees announcing the appointment of ministers and the establishment of new ministries. A newly established Ministry of Investment will be headed by H.E. Khalid Al-Falih and will absorb the responsibilities of the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA). Current Minister of Commerce H.E. Majed bin Abdullah al-Qasabi will also serve as Minister of Media. H.E. Majed bin Abdullah Al Hogail will resume his role as Minister of Housing and will also take on the role of Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs. H.R.H. Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki has been appointed as the head of the newly named Sports Ministry while H.E. Ahmed Al-Khateeb has been named Minister of Tourism.
