June 24, 2019 – McDermott International, Inc. announced the awarding of a major contract from Saudi Aramco for engineering, procurement, construction and installation services at the Marjan and Zuluf offshore oil fields. The agreement includes the full scope of EPCI services for the relocation of the control rooms at both fields, as well as the fabrication of new control rooms, boat landings, new jacket members, and the upgrade of all control systems as required. Work on the project will begin immediately and is expected to be executed from the company’s office in Al Khobar and its fabrication facility in Dammam, in line with the Kingdom’s focus on strengthening domestic production.
