June 24, 2019 – Sikorsky Aircraft has been awarded a contract valued at $15 million to provide support, storage, and maintenance services for the Kingdom’s UH-60M Blackhawk helicopters. The UH-60M Blackhawk helicopter has a crew of four with 9,000 pounds of hauling capacity and can fly 4,000 feet in altitude. Work on this contract will be performed at Sikorsky’s plant in Stratford, Connecticut with an expected completion date of April 30, 2022.
