July 26, 2018 –The U.S. Air Force has awarded a $59.7 million contract to Alsalam Aerospace Industries. The contract enables Alsalam to upgrade six F-15S, the Saudi-specific variant of the F-15 jet used by the Royal Saudi Air force, to the F-15SA, the most advanced F-15 of its type. Work on the contract will be performed in Riyadh and is scheduled to be completed by August 2020.
