February 5, 2018 – Emerson has launched a new $25 million technology and innovation 
center in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The 122,385 square-foot facility encompasses educational classrooms, concept test laboratories, a collaboration center, and an Industrial Internet of things laboratory for R&D. The center will share Emerson’s expertise with Saudi innovators, researchers, and students to collaborate on process automation technology developments and design innovative products and technologies. Through this initiative, Emerson aims to contribute to the goals of Vision 2030 which prioritizes technological advancement as a key for economic diversification.
