The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (USSABC) begins a Certified Trade Mission to Saudi Arabia in collaboration with the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and the U.S. Department of Commerce. General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) and Dammam Airports Company (DACO) are Supporting Partners of the mission. Saudia is the Official Carrier of the mission.
Mr. Abdallah Jum’ah, Saudi Co-Chairman of the Council and Former CEO of Saudi Aramco, commented, “The U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council is looking forward to hosting this delegation and is eager to advance Saudi Arabia’s role as a leading transportation hub, connecting key commercial markets from the United States and Middle East.”
Mr. H. Delano Roosevelt, who was recently appointed as Council President and CEO, added, “Having lived in the Gulf region for 15 years, I know firsthand the importance of a modern aviation sector in terms of both management and infrastructure. I am confident that this trade mission will establish lasting U.S.-Saudi relationships that will enhance Saudi Arabia’s position as a global center for transportation and logistics services.”
This is the 49th mission that the USSABC has organized since its establishment in 1993.In the Eastern Province, the delegation is meeting with the leadership of DACO and King Fahd International Airport, in addition to Asharqia Chamber and Saudi private sector companies.
