U.S. INNOVATORS IN CYBERSECURITY Business Mission to Saudi Arabia

February 2-5, 2020

Join us for the U.S. Innovators in Cybersecurity Business Development Mission in Riyadh on February 2-5, 2020 with participation in the Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF). The mission aims to introduce U.S. disruptive cybersecurity technologies to new business opportunities in Saudi Arabia.

Mission Participants

The mission targets U.S. companies with technology services in areas including:

  • 5G
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)/Machine Learning (ML) applications
  • Critical Infrastructure Protection
  • Internet of Things (IoT)
  • Industrial Internet of Things (IioT)
  • Digitization
  • Data centers
  • Quantum Computing
  • Training and Development

Applications include: aviation, automotive, defense, energy and utilities, financial services, infrastructure, smart cities, telecommunications, transport, and health and healthcare.

Market Opportunity

The country aims to be the leader in cybersecurity and programming regionally and globally. The Kingdom is ranked first regionally and 13th globally in the Global Cybersecurity Index for its commitment to cybersecurity. However, it ranks second, after the U.S., in the cost of data breaches and has the highest number of average data breaches.

To help combat the data breaches, the Saudi Government established the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) to protect vital interests, sensitive infrastructure, and boost cybersecurity. The Saudi Federation for Cyber Security and Programming was mandated to build and develop national capabilities in cybersecurity and programming based on international practices and standards. Industry spending in Saudi Arabia is expected to reach $1.87 billion by 2020. Areas for growth include security analytics, threat intelligence, mobile security, and cloud security.

Mission Agenda will include:

  • One-on-one meetings
  • Networking events
  • Participation at the Global Cybersecurity Forum (GCF), hosted by the NCA

Conference Agenda will include in-depth plenary sessions regarding:

  • Cyber Industry
  • Threats and Resilience
  • International Collaboration
  • Disruption
  • Culture

Mission Fee

  • $2,000/one company representative (20% discount for Council Members)
  • $1,000 for each additional company representative

Fee includes:

  • One-on-One Meetings
  • Networking Events
  • Group Ground Transport
  • Visa Facilitation (Consular fees NOT included)

Participants will be responsible for:

  • Incidentals
