Saudi Aramco has signed oil and gas agreements with five contractors in deals worth nearly $4.5 billion. Recipients of the contracts are Técnicas Reunidas, Jacobs Engineering, Saipem, National Petroleum Construction Company, China Petroleum Pipeline, and McDermott Middle East. The agreements cover a wide scope of projects, including programs for gas compression, gas plant expansion, engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC), pipeline construction, and engineering and project management. Chief Executive Officer at Saudi Aramco, Mr. Amin Nasser, commented that the agreements are a part of the company’s efforts towards introducing new supplies of clean-burning natural gas.
