The Saudi Ministry of Interior has announced that effective February 9th, citizens traveling outside of the country will be required to receive a third dose of the COVID vaccine or a booster shot. Children under the age of 16 and others with specific health conditions are excluded from the new rule. Additionally, individuals seeking entry into the Kingdom, regardless of immunization status, must provide a negative test result issued within 48 hours of their date of departure to be allowed in. The rule does not apply to children under the age of eight.
