The G20 Digital Economy Taskforce held two consecutive meetings on June 3-4 to address integrated strategies and regulations in the use of technology in the global digital economy. Joined by G20 member countries, guest countries, and national and international organizations, the virtual meeting addressed the role of digitalization in business continuity and recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic. Other topics in the discussion included Smart Cities, Digital Security, Connecting Humanity 2030 Initiative, and best use of digital technologies for economic and human capital resilience. The G20 Digital Economy Ministers meeting will reconvene on July 22-23.
