Pfizer Saudi Limited opened its $50 million manufacturing facility at King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC). The plant will produce medicine and packaging, including 16 of Pfizer’s pharmaceutical products that serve cardiovascular, neurology, urology, pain, and anti-infection purposes. The facility will create Saudi jobs and transfer technology in line with the goals of Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program. The Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) previously granted Pfizer a trading investment license for its commitment to the Kingdom’s economic goals, which grants the company 100% ownership in its Saudi Arabia business.
