P2S Inc. and Saudi Engineering Group International Sign MOU in USSBC-hosted Virtual Ceremony

The U.S.-Saudi Business Council (USSBC) hosted a virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony between U.S.-based construction management firm P2S Inc. and Saudi Engineering Group International (SEGI) on August 25, 2021. The two organizations first met during the USSBC’s Virtual Business Development Mission in November 2020.

Representing P2S were Mr. Kevin Peterson, President & CEO, and Mr. Kent Peterson, Chief Engineer & COO, while SEDI was represented by Mr. Najeeb Alsaihati, President, and Mr. Ali Alsaihati, Vice President. Ms. Terri Batch, Senior Trade Specialist at the U.S. Department of Commerce also attended the signing. USSBC President & CEO Mr. H. Delano Roosevelt moderated the virtual ceremony and was joined by Mr. Jamil Alothman, Vice President of Industrial Development, who was counselor to both companies in reaching their agreement.

After welcome remarks from Mr. Roosevelt, Mr. Kevin Peterson expressed appreciation for the Council’s help in entering the international business market for the first time and said that they are eager to support SEGI with its many projects in Saudi Arabia. Mr. Najeeb Alsaihati remarked that SEGI welcomes the expertise of P2S and looks forward to a long-lasting partnership. Both representatives are pleased that this partnership furthers SEDI’s contributions to Vision 2030’s transformative goals of development and diversification. After Mr. Peterson and Mr. Alsaihati completed the signing, Ms. Terri Batch thanked all parties for their hard work and remarked that the U.S. Department of Commerce is glad to support U.S.-Saudi partnerships like this one.

P2S is a consulting engineering and commissioning firm that designs high-performance building systems and central plants that reduce operating costs while providing quality indoor environmental conditions and optimal user comfort.
