Lockheed Martin Corporation has been awarded a $610.5 million Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contract to provide a range of support services for Saudi Arabia’s Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) system. Awarded by the Missile Defense Agency, the phase II contract will include training, engineering obsolescence, ground production, and software support services. Phase I of the contract was awarded to Lockheed in March 2019 as part of a $945.9 million agreement. Work on the Phase II contract commenced in early April and will continue through 2027.
