The U.S.-Saudi Business Council participated in the Real Estate Future Forum 2026 in Riyadh on January 27, 2026, with President and CEO Charles Hallab serving as a featured speaker on a high-level panel examining Saudi Arabia’s evolving real estate investment landscape.
Mr. Hallab took part in the panel titled “Saudi Real Estate: Evolving from Local Foundations to a Global Investment Landscape,” which addressed regulatory developments, foreign investment frameworks, and the Kingdom’s positioning as an increasingly attractive destination for international capital. In his remarks, Mr. Hallab shared the perspective of U.S. investors and stakeholders, focusing on how the Council supports greater American participation in Saudi Arabia’s real estate sector and how broader U.S.–Saudi relations influence investment appetite and outlook.
The panel brought together senior leaders from across the Saudi real estate and development ecosystem, including Oussama Kabbani, Group Chief Development Officer, ROSHN Group; Dr. Ali Alkhatib, Chief Investment Officer, King Abdullah Economic City; Eng. Yahya Alhassan Siraj, Chief Project Development Officer, Fursan Project; and Talal Al-Najar, General Manager for Business Development, AlSaedan Real Estate Company. The discussion was moderated by Christian Oussi, Managing Director and Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
The Forum convened high-level speakers and representatives from around the world, including ministers, former heads of state, renowned thought leaders, and top industry executives. The Council’s participation in the Forum reflects its ongoing role in representing U.S. private sector perspectives in key Saudi policy and investment dialogues and supporting informed engagement by U.S. companies across priority sectors, including real estate and urban development.
