Spring in Saudi Arabia: Festivals, Experiences, and New Destinations Across the Kingdom

As the spring season unfolds, Saudi Arabia is showcasing the full breadth of its evolving lifestyle and tourism landscape. Across the Kingdom, a diverse calendar of festivals, cultural experiences, and major new openings is drawing visitors to cities, coastlines, and desert destinations alike. From record-breaking floral displays on the Red Sea coast to stargazing under AlUla’s pristine night skies, and from globally recognized entertainment seasons to next-generation leisure developments, these experiences reflect a broader transformation underway. Together, they highlight Saudi Arabia’s growing position as a year-round destination for culture, entertainment, and discovery.

Riyadh Season & Al Khobar Season (Closing Weeks)

As April comes to an end, both Riyadh Season 2025–2026 and Al Khobar Season are entering their final stretch, bringing months of large-scale programming to a close. Riyadh Season has once again transformed the capital into a global entertainment hub, featuring international shows, sporting events, immersive zones, and world-class dining experiences.

Meanwhile, Al Khobar Season has offered a more coastal experience, with waterfront attractions, cultural programming, and family-friendly activities along the Eastern Province. With both seasons concluding by the end of April, this marks the final opportunity to experience two of the Kingdom’s flagship events.

Beyond its striking floral installations, the festival offers themed gardens, environmental education pavilions, and evening light shows that bring the botanical displays to life after sunset. A popular destination for families, the festival also reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing focus on urban greening and sustainability.
