Monthly Review: U.S.-Saudi Business Deals (May 2025)

The following is a summary of all announcements from the past month regarding investment deals, partnerships, and other commercial news between U.S. and Saudi companies.

 

Oil & Gas

Aramco Announces 34 MoUs and Agreements with U.S. Companies

Aramco, one of the world’s leading integrated energy and chemicals companies, announced the signing of 34 MoUs and agreements, with a potential total value of approximately $90 billion (SR337.5 billion), with major U.S. companies through its Aramco Group Companies.

Saudi Aramco is a member of the Business Council.

Aramco Signs MoUs with NextDecade, Sempra for 6.2 Million Tons of LNG

Saudi Aramco signed a memorandum of understanding with U.S. liquefied natural gas producer NextDecade and utility firm Sempra, as the oil giant expands in the LNG market.

Saudi Aramco is a member of the Business Council.

 

Construction & Real Estate

Bechtel to Lead Expansion of Saudi Arabia’s King Salman International Airport

Bechtel signed an agreement with the King Salman International Airport Development Company to serve as the delivery partner for three new terminals at King Salman International Airport in Riyadh.

Bechtel Corporation is a member of the Business Council.

 

Defense & Security

Leidos, Saudi Arabia’s National Security Services to Collaborate on Security Screening Solutions

Leidos (NYSE:LDOS) and Saudi Arabia’s National Security Services Company (SAFE) will collaborate on security screening technology for airports and other ports of entry across the Kingdom under an agreement signed May 13.

The National Security Services Company (SAFE) is a member of the Business Council.

 

Mining & Minerals

Ma’aden and MP Materials Collaborate to Establish Full Value Chain for Rare Earth Magnetics

Saudi Arabian Mining Company, one of the world’s fastest-growing mining companies, has signed a MoU with MP Materials Corp, a U.S. fully integrated rare earth producer, to explore opportunities to establish a fully integrated, end-to-end rare earth supply chain.

Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) is a member of the Business Council.

 

Investment

U.S. Company Joins Major Infrastructure Project in Makkah

U.S.-based investment firm Burlington Capital has joined the Al-Bushra Infrastructure Development Fund as a strategic partner, marking a new chapter in economic cooperation between the U.S. and Saudi Arabia.

 

Medical & Pharmaceuticals

ImmunityBio, Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Investment, KFSHRC, and KAIMRC Sign Strategic Memorandum of Understanding to Launch Cancer BioShield™ Platform in the Middle East

ImmunityBio, Inc., a leading immunotherapy company, announced the signing of a strategic MoU with the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA), King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSHRC), and King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC).

Qualcomm Signs MoU to Deliver AI Data Centers, Edge, and Chips for Saudi’s Humain

Qualcomm has signed a memorandum of understanding with PIF-backed Humain to develop AI data centers, hybrid AI across Edge and cloud, and AI chips.

 

Renewables

Hyliion and Alkhorayef Join Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum During U.S. Presidential Visit, Signing Strategic MOU for $1 Billion Business Opportunity in the Energy Sector

Hyliion Holdings Corp., developer of the innovative KARNOTM Power Module, and Alkhorayef Industries Company, a leading Saudi Arabian industrial conglomerate, announced the signing of a strategic MoU during the Saudi-U.S. Investment Forum 2025 in Riyadh.
