History was made in Riyadh as the U.S.-Saudi Business Council (USSBC) commemorated its 30th anniversary with a gala dinner that brought together more than 200 distinguished guests at a stunning venue in Riyadh’s Diplomatic Quarter. The evening was more than a celebration—it was a gathering of high-level leaders shaping the future of U.S.-Saudi business, trade, investment, and collaboration.
Attendees included highnesses, ministers, deputy ministers, dignitaries, chairmen, CEOs, and senior executives representing leading Saudi and American companies across a comprehensive array of sectors. Also present were members of the Council and its Board of Directors, whose unwavering support has been instrumental in advancing the Council’s mission over the past three decades.
The gala featured a keynote address by H.E. Dr. Eiman Al-Mutairi, Saudi Arabia’s Vice Minister of Commerce, who underscored the importance of deep collaboration between the Council and the Ministry of Commerce.
Her remarks spotlighted their shared commitment to empowering the private sector and enhancing U.S.-Saudi commercial partnerships in alignment with Vision 2030.
The program also featured remarks by key Council leaders and partners, including USSBC Co-Chairman Abdallah Jum’ah, President and CEO Charles S. Hallab, and Rami Al Turki, President and CEO of Al Turki Holding. Each reflected on the Council’s evolution, its pivotal role in facilitating billions in cross-border trade and investment, and its unique position as a bridge between the two nations’ business communities.
Mr. Hallab emphasized the Council’s unique proposition:
“For more than 30 years, the U.S.-Saudi Business Council has been the only organization singularly dedicated to advancing the bilateral trade, investment, and commercial ties between the United States and Saudi Arabia. With our strategic presence in Washington D.C. and Riyadh, and through our networks, members, and stakeholders, we have played a crucial role in fostering lasting business partnerships and driving economic collaboration at every level between our two great nations.”
The event was proudly supported by sponsorships from leading organizations, including Platinum Sponsor Al-Rushaid Group, Gold Sponsors Saudi Awwal Bank and Front End Company, and Silver Sponsors Al Turki Holding, Gulf International Bank, and Mayer Brown / Al Akeel & Partners. Rasheed Al-Rushaid, Chairman, President, and CEO of Al-Rushaid Group, the event’s Platinum Sponsor, reflected on the evening:
“Our engagements as Al Rushaid Group with the Council and the American business community have been instrumental in shaping a legacy of partnership that goes beyond ordinary transactions. It’s a relationship built on mutual respect, joint visions, and a shared passion for excellence and innovation. Together, we celebrate this legacy of partnership and look forward to the past, present, and the new horizons that lie ahead.”
As we look to the future, the Council remains more committed than ever to fostering strategic alliances, facilitating investments, creating business partnerships, and supporting the continued growth of the U.S.-Saudi economic relationship.
To our members, partners, and honored guests—thank you for making this milestone unforgettable. Here’s to the next 30 years and beyond.
