DynCorp International LLC, based in Forth Worth, Texas, was awarded a nearly $28 million modification to an existing contract for maintenance support services for the Saudi government’s Royal Saudi Land Forces Aviation Command. The contracted work is estimated to be completed by the end of July 2022. DynCorp started as an aviation company but now provides flight operations support, training and mentoring, international development, intelligence training and support, contingency operations, security, and land vehicle maintenance for the U.S. military. The company recently signed an agreement to be acquired by Amentum Services, Inc. The acquisition increases the size of the company to 34,000 employees across 105 countries.
