
About Robert Murden
Research Analyst
Robert Murden is a Research Analyst for the Communications team at the U.S.-Saudi Business Council. In this role, he writes featured articles for the Council’s website, supports the Council’s members and other departments with research and writing requests, monitors Saudi news to provide relevant updates for the Council’s members, and helps manage the Council’s social media presence on Twitter and LinkedIn. Robert also supports the Business Advisory Services team with member services requests and webinar/event planning. Prior to joining the Council, Robert was a project manager and client relations specialist at a Germany-based software startup company, where he led virtual software training sessions, coordinated with clients’ team leads on the company’s implementation projects, and provided technical support. Before that, he worked in a variety of research and tech-based roles in the private and non-profit sectors in the DC area and overseas. He brings to the Council research and writing experience as well as extensive international travel experience in Europe, Africa, and elsewhere. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs from James Madison University and a Master of Science in Global Technology and Development from Arizona State University.
