Lisa Leander is an international development expert with over 15 years of experience managing capacity building projects globally. In her role as Director of Member Services, she oversees the process for identification, documentation, and engagement of members to ensure the successful execution of international transactions between Saudi and American companies. In her previous positions, she has overseen USAID, World Bank, U.S State Department and DFID trade and entrepreneurship projects globally with a portfolio of up to $24 million. She has managed overall operations, implemented programs, conducted impact evaluations, negotiated contracts, and built systems in multiple countries and contexts. Her in-country field experience includes managing teams in Egypt, Jordan, Botswana, Tanzania, Tunisia, South Africa, Philippines, Mexico, and Cambodia. Most recently, she managed a leading global business accelerator program for women-owned SME’s providing training and consulting services in finance, marketing, and strategy. Lisa has an MA in International Development Studies from Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University and a BA in History and Spanish from Sonoma State University.
