Aramco and Honeywell to Develop Direct Crude-to-Chemicals Tech
Saudi state oil giant Aramco has signed a joint development agreement with U.S. conglomerate Honeywell and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) of Saudi Arabia to co-develop a novel direct Crude-to-Chemicals (CTC) technology.
Aramco and Honeywell International are members of the U.S.-Saudi Business Council.

EA Announces Agreement to be Acquired by PIF, Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners for $55 Billion
Electronic Arts Inc., a global leader in interactive entertainment, announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by an investor consortium comprised of PIF, Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners in an all-cash transaction that values EA at an enterprise value of approximately $55 billion (SR206.25 billion.)
Google Pay, Alipay+ to Launch in Saudi Arabia: SAMA
Google Pay will be rolled out across Saudi Arabia, the Kingdom’s central bank announced during the Money20/20 Middle East event. The bank, also known as SAMA, also signed an agreement with Ant International to enable the acceptance of Alipay+ payments by 2026.

Viper Networks and Apollo International Announce Smart City Pilot Deployment in Saudi Arabia
Viper Networks and Apollo INT’L have completed the pilot deployment of the company’s smart city infrastructure in Saudi Arabia. The implementation highlights the flexibility of Viper’s Community product line, which includes its most advanced smart poles and Apollo smart lighting systems.

Aviation Blade Services, Inc. (ABS), a subsidiary of First Aviation Services Inc., announced a strategic collaboration with GDC Middle East (GDCME) to establish a helicopter rotor-blade repair facility in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Air Charter Service Opens First Office in Saudi Arabia, and 39th Globally
Air Charter Service has opened its first office in Saudi Arabia, in the capital city, Riyadh. At the official launch, earlier this week, Justin Bowman, Air Charter Service’s Chief Executive, said of the new operation: “We have been targeting the expansion of our Middle Eastern operations for some time now, and Riyadh was the natural choice for this move.”
Saudi Arabia, Boeing Agree Deal on Advanced Air Mobility
U.S. aircraft manufacturer Boeing has inked an agreement with Saudi Arabia to explore partnerships and investments in the advanced air mobility sector. A memorandum of understanding was signed in Washington, D.C. by a delegation from the Kingdom’s civil aviation sector, led by Abdulaziz Al-Duailej, president of the General Authority of Civil Aviation, according to a press statement.

Blaize Holdings, Inc., a leader in programmable, energy-efficient edge AI computing, and Technology Control Company, a leading technology solutions provider in Saudi Arabia, announced a strategic partnership to advance Saudi Arabia’s AI innovation infrastructure and accelerate its digital transformation goals.
NextEra, a joint venture between LTIMindtree and Aramco Digital, has entered a partnership with ServiceNow, the AI platform for digital transformation, to drive large-scale digital transformation across Saudi Arabia and the broader MENA region.

Ball Corporation announced it has completed the sale of 41 percent of its 51 percent ownership interest in Ball United Arab Can Manufacturing Company (UAC), its consolidated joint venture in Saudi Arabia, to a subsidiary of ORG Technology Co., Ltd. (ORG) for approximately USD $70 million (SR262.4 million), which is subject to customary closing adjustments.
