A conversation with H.E. Abdulhakim bin Muhammad Al Tamimi, President, General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), discussing the campaign to modernize and privatize the Kingdom’s aviation sector. GACA intends to privatize 11 airports and aviation services by 2020 and also build new airports countrywide. These developments offer ample business opportunities for providers of cost-effective solutions to airport needs covering airport infrastructure development and management, operations and maintenance, construction, safety, and maintenance, and workforce training development, among others.
