Webinar: Doing Business in Saudi Arabia: Establishing a Foreign Entity

Are you considering establishing a subsidiary company, a branch office or a representative office in Saudi Arabia? Or are you currently in the process and have lessons learned to share? Join the Council’s upcoming webinar to review the administrative requirements and licensing processes to successfully establish your office. Hear from Council Member, Proven SA, who will discuss the company’s experiences in supporting foreign firms navigate market entry and how to overcome challenges with establishing a local presence. Council Member company, Jensen Hughes, will respond to the presentation to share their experience of recently establishing an office in Al Khobar.

Objectives:

  • Learn about the most common forms of business entity structures for foreign companies, what factors to consider for market entry, and the average time it takes to establish a business presence;
  • Review the recent reforms that are contributing to the ease of doing business;
  • Understand the corporate immigration requirements;
  • Discover what additional resources are available from the U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council.

 

Panelist: Osman Qureshi, Director of Business Support Solutions, Proven SA

 Osman Qureshi is the Director of Business Support Solutions specializing in leading, directing, and designing innovative solutions whilst managing overall company performance. Osman has almost 10 years’ experience in the Saudi market and has extensive local knowledge.  Osman specialises in Market entry solutions, Corporate immigration, Business process outsourcing, HR and recruitment solutions, giving him a wealth of knowledge on the region, it challenges and solutions.

 

Respondent: Keith Butler, Practice Leader Oil + Gas, Jensen Hughes

With more than 12 years of risk management experience in the oil and gas industry,  Keith serves as a practice leader for the petrochemical, oil, and gas markets, supervising projects around the world for high hazard industrial occupancies including refineries, bulk plants, tank farms, power plants, aircraft hangars, storage/warehousing, and transportation facilities.  In addition to these responsibilities, Keith is actively involved in mergers and acquisitions as well as research and establishment of new offices for Jensen Hughes. Most recently he led a team to establish an office in Al Khobar within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
