Corporate Venture Capital Manager, Al Elm
Mr. Salem Washeely serves as Manager for Corporate Venture Capital with Al Elm Company. Previously, he was Senior Strategy Analyst and worked on the formulation of Al Elm’s M&A and joint venture strategies. He has performed more than 20 comprehensive industry studies and worked on several acquisition/investment opportunities in healthcare, cyber security, SaaS, fintech and others with potential contribution of $133 million (SR 0.5 billion) to Elm’s top line. He also worked on establishing a game changing JV in the Cloud business with major players in the field.
Additionally, Mr. Washeely served as a consultant for the Saudi Industrial Development Fund, where he worked on evaluating more than 15 industrial projects in different sectors with loan values of more than $266 million (SR 1 billion).
He has earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals. He has also done post graduate studies at Queens University and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co.
