
Noor AlAbdulkarim
Vice President, Social Development Bank
Noor Alabdulkarim is the General Manager of Partnerships and Marketing at the Social Development Bank (SDB) in Saudi Arabia. The SDB is the largest funding institution for startups in the Kingdom. Prior to working at the SDB, Noor was the CEO of the Business Support and Development Center at Princess Nora bint Abdulrhman University. The Center was a public initiative created to support and promote female entrepreneurial ventures in Saudi Arabia.
Noor’s main focus was to initiate value-add initiatives that supported economic empowerment, and to build strategic partnerships with key players in the start-up ecosystem. Noor has over 14 years of experience in business development in both the private and public sectors.
Noor is also a founding member of CellA+, a nonprofit network designed and launched in June 2011 to empower and connect Saudi women professionally.
Previously, Noor worked for the Badir Program One of King Abdul Aziz City for Science and Technology initiative for technological commercialization. During her time there, she ran the Technology Entrepreneurship Awareness programs. Noor also gained over 7 years of experience in the banking sector.
Noor Alabdulkarim holds a BA in Business Administration and an MBA from King Saud University. She has a Credit and Investment Post Graduate Diploma, which served as a professional fellowship for entrepreneurship and innovation. She is also a certified incubator manager for both the global bank and NBIA.
