Mike Ryan is Director, Business Development at the U.S.-Saudi Arabian Business Council (“the Council”). Mike draws upon his extensive experience in government and international relations to advise clients in strategic relationships with the U.S. and Saudi Arabian government and private sector.

Most recently, Mike worked in the Riyadh office of the Council. There he was responsible for raising the profile of the Council, external relations, and member relations. He established strategic relationships with the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce, Dhahran Techno Valley, and the Embassy of the United States and various Ministries to better assist Council members.

He has extensive experience in the Middle East, working with those at the highest levels of political and corporate decision-making. Mike has spent part of his career working with the Middle East Council of the American Chambers of Commerce.

Previously, he worked at the lobby firm, Capitol Capital Group. Mike was primarily responsible at CCG for developing relationships with U.S., Foreign and private organizations to promote legislation to encourage international relationships, free trade agreements, and foreign investment in the United States or in the GCC. Prior to joining CCG, Mike worked at the oilfield services company Petrofac in Dubai and the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute in the U.S. and UAE.
