Amer Al-Kahtani is the Vice President of Research and Innovation in the ELM Leading the Government Process Outsourcing Business Unit. ELM is a joint-stock company owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF). Elm focus on developing secure e-Services and high-profile government support projects that fully meet client expectations. Also they aim to contribute to the build-up of national expertise and the localization of IT capacities.
Mr. Al-Kahtani joined ELM since it is early days where he led multiple departments such as E-business, Product and Business Operation, Strategic Planning, Shomoos and then he established the Government Process Outsourcing Unit and grows it to more than 1000 Employees to establish and manage more than 65 Government Service centers.
Prior to joining ELM, he founded and managed multiple successful mega initiatives in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Such as AraSoft the first retail marketplace for Arabic Software in the Arab world, with more than twenty branches all over of the Kingdom. After that he co-found and manage Green Net ISP, a successful ISP that provides clean and safe internet access for families, schools and children. In addition also he was part of Al-Majid Satellite Cartoon Channels early team, the first Arab cartoon channel in Saudi Arabia.
Amer has over than 30 years of experience in Designing, Developing and Managing government solutions for MOI National Information Center and many other MOI agencies in addition to some other Saudi Ministries where he gained the trust of all stakeholders and clients.
