July 22, 2019 –Lockheed Martin Corporation has been awarded a modified contract to supply the Kingdom with THAAD Interceptor items for an estimated $1.5 billion. The initial contract was signed in 2017 for $3.89 billion, bringing the total value of the deal to $5.36 billion. The sale includes 360 THAAD Interceptor Missiles, 16 THAAD Fire Control and Communications Mobile Tactical Station Group units and seven Raytheon AN/TPY-2 THAAD radars.
