What We Did in 2020
While the global pandemic this year fundamentally changed the way the global business community operates, the Council is pleased to have continued its important connections with Saudi Government entities, key industrial sectors, and crucial stakeholders, with the commitment to align with the economic principles presented in Vision 2030. In this light, the Business Council organized and executed more than 10 premier events, including 1 trade mission.
The Council continued to support businesses all across the U.S., with a focus in Pennsylvania, Florida, Oregon, and Washington as part of the Council state initiative launched over a decade ago, and contributed to $12.7 million in known export sales.
In 2021, the Council continued to expand its services and communications methods. With an economics department and dedicated communications and PR team, the Council remains committed to growing impact and reach as the source on business and trade in the U.S. and Saudi Arabia.
