Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 calls for an increase in privatization, strategic partnerships, and localization to diversify the country’s economy. This ongoing transformation provides significant business opportunities for the private sector.
Organizations such as TAQNIA and SAMI are leading the way in Saudi Arabia to partner with foreign defense companies in order to ultimately promote technology transfer, develop agreements with trade partners and localize defense manufacturing.
Gen. Hamad Al Yosefi, CEO, TAQNIA Defense and Security, Alex Barrasso, Pol-Mil Counselor, U.S.-Embassy Riyadh, and Albara’a Alwazir, Economist from the Council, will discuss the opportunities for U.S. and Saudi Arabian firms to create and expand strategic partnerships. Market segments that will be discussed include CISR, aviation, ground combat technologies, naval platforms and more.
The first 30 minutes will focus on presentations, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A and panel discussion.
Questions can be sent to Mike Ryan at mryan@us-sabc.org.
