Wiam Alwazir serves as the Director of Programs at the U.S.-Saudi Business Council. She oversee all aspects of USSBC events and programs, including planning and execution of industry roundtables, seminars, and conferences. Additionally, she develops, implements, and oversees communications and marketing content and strategies that effectively capture and promote the Council, its members, and its services. She also oversees the design and layout of Business Council marketing materials and branding.  

Ms. Alwazir is uniquely specialized in numerous Saudi industry sectors, including water, energy and mineral resources. She works with both member and non-member client companies ranging across an array of industry sector and sizes in facilitating business-to-business trade and investment transactions.  

Prior to joining the Council, Wiam worked at The World Bank, where she conducted sector-specific research in coordination with various Field Specialists and Senior Economists. Ms. Alwazir was also a Senior Account Executive with Publicis Groupe based in Dubai, U.A.E. There, she provided advertising sales and innovative communication solutions for leading brand companies. She holds an M.B.A. from Marymount University and an undergraduate degree from the Lebanese American University.
