July 19, 2019 – Energy Recovery, Inc. has been awarded $5.8 million worth of contracts to supply its PX Q300 Pressure Exchanger devices to several desalination facilities across the Kingdom. The company estimates that products distributed to Saudi Arabia’s desalination facilities will reduce power consumption for all projects by 31.8 megawatts, while producing up to 246,000 cubic meters of water per day. The award is the company’s second in the Kingdom during 2019, following contract wins with a value of $8.8 million in March.
