Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) names Khalid Al-Dabbagh as new board chairman. Khalid Al-Dabbagh is currently Senior Vice President of Finance, Strategy and Development at Saudi Aramco since 2018. He has also served as board member in multiple regional and international companies such as Showa Shell, Fujian Refining and Petrochemical Companies, Aramco Trading Company, and Sadara Chemical Company. In addition to Mr. Al-Dabbagh, SABIC appointed two Aramco executives as non-executive board members, Olivier Gerard Thorel, Vice President of Chemicals, and Ziad Thamer Al-Murshed, Vice President of International Operations, effective immediately.
