Kewaunee Scientific Corporation, a U.S.-based leader in designing, manufacturing, and installing laboratory, healthcare, and technical furniture products, announced that it has been approved to establish a Technical Service Organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, called Kewaunee Scientific Saudia Co. The subsidiary will support Kewaunee’s expansion to the Middle East as well as North and Sub-Saharan Africa. Thomas D. Hull III, President and CEO of Kewaunee, said he expects these markets to be part of the company’s long-term growth strategy, and remarked that establishing the entity is a natural extension of Kewaunee’s past deliveries of “some of the largest and most complex laboratory projects in the region.” Other benefits arising from the new subsidiary include the creation of new local Saudi jobs, stronger relationships between Kewaunee and their regional partners, and the capability to better serve key customers with their full range of products and services.
