Hill International, a U.S.-based public company specializing in managing construction risk, announced that it has been contracted to provide Facilities Management consultancy services as the Managing Agent for the publicly-owned Tatweer Building Company (TBC), which represents the Saudi Ministry of Education. Under the contract, Hill International will provide its services for three main projects: two buildings for the Ministry’s headquarters in Riyadh, schools and administrative buildings for the Riyadh school system (consisting of more than 2,000 facilities), and schools and administrative buildings for the Eastern Province school system (more than 2,000 facilities). TBC has plans to scale up their operations to complete the project’s portfolio of more than 6,000 sites, while Hill International’s role will be to mobilize its staff of experienced program managers, project managers, construction advisors, and other consulting professionals to ensure that the project’s facilities management standards are held to the highest international standards. The Ministry of Education is carrying out the projects with the goal of expanding and transforming the country’s education system.
